Ana Free

Ana Free (b.1987) is Portuguese singer and songwriter.

Ana Gomes Ferreira, her real name, was born to a British mother and Portuguese father. Ana grew up with her older brother in Cascais. At a young age she was passionate about writing poetry and stories, beginning to write and compose at the age of 10. She attended St. Julians International School in Carcavelos.
Ana Free had a series of top-five hit singles, including 4 number one hits, in Portugal. Her YouTube channel has over 34 million views so far.

Her first live TV performance was in the summer of 2007 on TVI, in Portugal, where she sang "Crazy", a song she composed herself. Ana has achieved chart success with her first single, released on 23 May 2008, "In My Place".

On 2 June 2012, Ana performed at the prestigious Rock in Rio in Lisbon. Ana debuted the first single "Electrical Storm" off her upcoming debut album on The MTV Show. In December 2012 she released her debut album "TOGETHER" (also known as "TO.GET.HER") on Warner Singapore, being very well received by the critics.

Ainda jovem, era apaixonada por escrever poesia e histórias, começando a escrever e compor aos 10 anos de idade. Frequentou a St. Julians International School em Carcavelos.

Ana Free teve uma série de singles de sucesso no Top 5, incluindo quatro hits em número 1, em Portugal. O seu canal no YouTube tem mais de 34 milhões de visitas até o momento.

A sua primeira apresentação ao vivo na TV foi no verão de 2007 na TVI em Portugal, onde ela cantou “Crazy”, uma canção escrita por ela mesma. Ana alcançou o seu primeiro sucesso nos tops de vendas com o single, lançado a 23 de Maio de 2008, “In My Place”.

Em 2 de Junho de 2012, Ana cantou no famoso festival Rock in Rio, em Lisboa. Fez a estreia do seu primeiro single "Electrical Storm" na MTV Show. Em Dezembro de 2012, lançou seu álbum de estreia, "Together" (também conhecido como " TO.GET.HER") na Warner Singapura, sendo muito bem recebido pela crítica.
