Ana Free (b.1987) is Portuguese singer and songwriter.

Ana Gomes Ferreira, her real name, was born to a British mother and Portuguese father. Ana grew up with her older brother in Cascais. At a young age she was passionate about writing poetry and stories, beginning to write and compose at the age of 10. She attended St. Julians International School in Carcavelos.
Ana Free had a series of top-five hit singles, including 4 number one hits, in Portugal. Her YouTube channel has over 34 million views so far.

Her first live TV performance was in the summer of 2007 on TVI, in Portugal, where she sang "Crazy", a song she composed herself. Ana has achieved chart success with her first single, released on 23 May 2008, "In My Place".

On 2 June 2012, Ana performed at the prestigious Rock in Rio in Lisbon. Ana debuted the first single "Electrical Storm" off her upcoming debut album on The MTV Show. In December 2012 she released her debut album "TOGETHER" (also known as "TO.GET.HER") on Warner Singapore, being very well received by the critics.

Rita Redshoes

Rita Redshoes (b.1981) is a Portuguese singer-songwriter.

Rita Pereira, her real name, was born in Loures and is graduated in Psychology. “Golden Age” (2008), an award-winning her debut disc, and “Lights & Darks” (2010 ) made known Rita’s music to the public.

In addition to her presence in many Portuguese stages, Rita Redshoes has featured in several live concerts abroad like at South By Southwest Festival (USA), the Eurosonic (Netherlands) or at the Peace & Love Festival (Sweden). Rita began her career as a drummer in a theater group at school (1997), she passed through numerous music projects where she played several instruments (Atomic Bees, Photographs, Rebel Red Dog, David Fonseca) and has been participating on soundtracks. She studied classical singing and piano, finishing her Professional Course of Music and New Technologies.

More recently Rita was part, along with Paulo Furtado ("The Legendary Tigerman"), in creating the soundtrack of the movie "Estrada de Palha" by Rodrigo Areias and toured the country with the show "The Other Women - O mundo nas canções d’Elas”, which evokes some of the greatest female artists in the music worldwide in a tribute to writers, composers and interpreters that, for their creativity, inspired her since she awakened to the music.

 

 

 

 

Rita Redshoes (n.1981)é uma cantora e compositora portuguesa.

Rita Pereira, o seu nome verdadeiro, nasceu em Loures e é licenciada em Psicologia. “Golden Era" (2008) disco galardoado e de estreia e "Lights & Darks" (2010) deram a conhecer a sua música ao público.

Para além da presença em inúmeros palcos portugueses, Rita Redshoes tem-se destacado em actuações no Festival South By Southwest (EUA), no Eurosonic  (Holanda) ou no Festival Peace & Love (Suécia). Iniciou o seu percurso como  baterista num grupo de teatro de escola (1997), passou por inúmeros projectos musicais onde tocou vários instrumentos (Atomic Bees, Photographs, Rebel Red Dog, David Fonseca) e tem colaborado em bandas sonoras. Estudou canto lírico e piano finalizando o Curso Profissional de Música e Novas Tecnologias.

Mais recentemente participou, juntamente com Paulo Furtado, “The Legendary Tigerman”, na criação da banda sonora do filme “Estrada de Palha” de Rodrigo Areias e percorreu o país com o espectáculo “The Other Women  – O mundo nas canções d’Elas”, onde evoca alguns dos grandes nomes da música mundial numa homenagem às autoras, compositoras e intérpretes que pela sua criatividade a inspiraram desde que despertou para a música.

 

Mia Rose

Mia Rose (b.1988) is a Portuguese-English singer, songwriter and actress.

Maria Antónia Teixeira Rosa, her real name, was born in London to a Portuguese mother and na English father. She moved to Portugal when she was 9 years old.

Mia has more subscribers on her YouTube channel, than Beyonce, U2, Justin Timberlake or Coldplay. Mia Rose has been the subject of articles in Rolling Stone, The Sun and BBC Radio.

In 2006, during the university holidays, Mia opened a YouTube account named "miaarose". In her personal channel, Mia began posting a new video everyday, where she was singing versions of her favorite artists. Two weeks later, Mia was among the most viewed musicians on YouTube and attracted the interest of several multinational publishers and was the subject of several printed and online news.

In 2009, Mia recorded her first single "Let Go", releasing the hit on iTunes in Portugal, where it quickly became the best selling downloaded song of the year and finished second in the Portuguese top chart.

Her success as an artist DIY (do it yourself ), due to the exposure on YouTube, led Mia to receive invitations to prestigious events like Google Zeitgeist or SIME and talk about her career.

Mia moved to London in September 2009 and signed a contract with citizensound, the agency that manages her career.

Her second single with two tracks, "What Would Christmas Be Like?/Fallin’ for You" was released exclusively through her website miaroseworld.com on December 2, 2009. It was composed by Mia and premiered on her YouTube channel on December 1, 2009. The video for the new single was recorded in Brazil by the director and actor Rafael Almeida.

The second track included in this release, "Fallin’ for You" was written by Colbie Caillat and was chosen by fans of Mia from four possible songs. It was clearly winning song, gathering 45% of the votes, more than twice than the music that came in second. Both tracks were produced in London by Tyrell, who has worked with artists such as David Bowie, Simply Red, Lily Allen and PM Dawn.

Mia Rose’s career is currently brokered by celebrity division of Models 1, along with Lois Winstone, Mika, Joely Richardson and Robert Pattinson.

Luciana Abreu

Luciana Abreu (b.1985) is a Portuguese singer, actress and Television hostess.

Luciana was born in Porto, Massarelos. Her debut was in 1999, in SIC’s TV show “Cantigas de Rua”, winning it.

In 2005 she participated in the TV show “Ídolos” (Idols) and represented Portugal in the “Eurovision Song Contest” in Kiev with the song “Amar”.

In 2006, Luciana was invited to be the protagonist in SIC’s soap opera “Floribella”. She was nominated for two categories of the Portuguese Golden Globes, winning one of them.

In 2007, she participated in the dance TV contest on RTP “Dança Comigo”, winning it.

In 2008, Luciana was the cover of men's magazine FHM, beating sales records. "Lucy" was the name of the show that marked the return of Luciana Abreu on SIC’s screens.

In 2009 she participated in the “Festival RTP da Canção” (song contest) with the song “Juntos Vamos Conseguir” (Yes We Can), but didn’t win it. In 2010 she was part of the cast of TV series “Perfeito Coração”, on SIC. In 2011 she also participated in the show “Último a Sair”, a "Reality Show" on RTP and in early 2012, Luciana Abreu was a special guest at the contest “A Tua Cara Não Me É Estranha”, on TVI.

Luciana has 2 daughters, from her relationship with the footballer Yannick Djalo, Lyonce Viiktórya (b.2011) and Lyannii Viiktórya (b.2012).
