Joana Seixas (b.1976) is a Portuguese
actress.
In his teenage years she was part of the pop band "Onda Choc". She sang the themes “Feira Popular” e “Bater, tomar, chamar”. In 1999, Joana finished her degree in Theatre, Actors / Stage Directors, at the School of Theatre and Film.
In 2009, she won the award for Best Novel Protagonist for her character of “Vera Sarmento”, the first totally original production of SIC Television, “Podia Acabar o Mundo”. Being exclusive for SIC Television until 2012, in 2010 Joana is part of the cast of “Laços de Sangue” and “Lua Vermelha” and in 2012 in the TV novel “Dancing Days”.
