Leonor Seixas (b.1980) is a Portuguese
actress.
She
studied ballet at the Conservatorio Nacional de Lisboa (today Escola Superior de Teatro e
Cinema) and took music
lessons (piano, flute, percussion and trumpet). After had taken acting
classes as a student at the
Escola Profissional de Teatro de
Cascais, Leonor went to New York, where she studied for two years at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
After theater engagements
and smaller movie roles in New York, Leonor returned, under the impact of terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001 and
its aftermath, back to Lisbon,
where she played major roles in several theater plays and TV series.
